 We need your support!!!

Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to the Lisbon Area Historical Society.

Our Need Is Real

The financial support of you and our other friends is essential to the Society’s achievement of its mission.   We are blessed with many volunteers whose many hours of service make it possible for us to do much of what we do.  However, as is true with so many charities, our organization cannot live with our volunteers’ time and effort alone.

We need financial help not only to cover our basic operational expenses but also to pursue new initiatives so important to achieving the Society’s mission.

One Important Need: To Be Able To Digitize Our Collections

We need to purchase new equipment and supplies to be able to undertake making digital images of all of our growing collections of documents, photos and other historic materials.    Digitizing our collections serves two important purposes.  First, it will enable us to make our collections widely available via the Internet and in other ways.  Second, digitizing our collections assures that we will always have a permanent record of materials that are always at risk of deterioration and other hazards.

A Gift of Any Amount Will Be Greatly Appreciated And Put To Very Good Use

Please consider making a contribution to the Lisbon Area Historical Society at this time.  We will welcome a gift from you of any amount - $25, $50, $100, whatever.   Contributions may be mailed to the Society at PO Box 6, Lisbon NH 03585.

Thank you for considering this request.  The Society is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization, and therefore contributions are fully deductible for tax purposes.  We also welcome gifts of marketable securities.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at (603) 838-6146 or at info@lisbonareahistory.org.

Contributions of Historical Documents, Photos & Other Items Also Welcome

The Society is also pleased and grateful to receive donations of items related to local history that are in good or restorable condition and otherwise appropriate for our Collections.  For more information, see "To Donate Items".
