CELEBRATING 250 YEARS
Events will be held throughout 2013 to commemorate Lisbon’s 250th birthday. The main community celebration will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013, but many other events are being planned throughout the year. Please check back for more details. We want you to help us celebrate!
Local organizations will incorporate the 250th birthday theme in their regular, yearly activities. Check back for more details on year-round programs and events, sales of commemorative pins and clothing, Lisbon Area Historical Society pictorial history commemorating the 250th birthdays of Lisbon (2013), Lyman (2011), and Landaff (2014), Salmon Hole Cemetery Walk, N.H., Lisbon Friends in Council’s formal tea, Navy Band concert and other music, historic walking self-tour, store displays, and MUCH MORE. Please check back as dates and details are finalized.
