GRANDPARENTS DAY AT THE MUSEUM and PRESENTING A CANE TO LANDAFF'S OLDEST RESIDENT

LAHS held a Grandparents Day event at the Museum on September 7, 2024, which included the presentation of Landaff’s Oldest Resident Cane. Clifford Boivin, age 90, was presented the cane made by Alan Boulet of Landaff. Boivin came from Gorham, NH to Lisbon and taught “shop” at Lisbon High School. He then taught for a brief time at Littleton High School before starting a career as Sales Manager at New England Wire Technologies. In 1959, Cliff married Sally Allbee of Landaff and they lived and raised their three children on the Allbee Farm in Landaff, which is now owned by the ninth generation of the family.
